Let your Christian Life bloom
Our world today is full of quarrels and conflicts, we see family members angry with each other. Our politicians constantly snipe back and forth and engage in name-calling. The media no longer seems to report the news; instead, they seem to want to be the center of attention. Our televisions consistently run commercials designed to make us want what others have. Our movies are full of graphic violence. We treat sex as a plaything and nothing that needs serious consideration and reverence. We treat human beings as nothing more than disposable items that can easily be discarded when we don’t need or want them any longer.
We have stopped talking to God about what is right and wrong. We pray for material success, but not for spiritual success or wisdom. We make decision in haste and then have to live with the unintended consequences of those decisions, which are often negative. We can change, we can reduce the amount of quarrels and conflicts we see. It starts with each of us remembering that Jesus commanded us to love one another as we love ourselves. Treat others with respect; listen to them, there is no grand prize for being the loudest and angriest. There is a grand prize when we live our lives as true Christians and we watch the quarrels and conflicts dissipate.
Peace y’all and God Bless
